Important Coronavirus Announcement

To our patients and their families:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring the Novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak that originated in Wuhan, China, and has expanded to other international locations outside of China, including Japan, South Korea, Iran, and Italy. The virus is causing respiratory symptoms of varying severity, which can include pneumonia.

Bee Well pediatrics is working proactively to protect the health and safety of our patients, families, and employees.  We are closely following alerts from the CDC, the Travis County Health Department and the Texas Department of State Health to adapt as the situation evolves with best practices for infection control and guidance from public health officials.

Along with other healthcare organizations, Bee Well is strictly enforcing screening precautions for both parents and patients. Important things to know before your next visit to Bee Well:

  • Patients or family members who are experiencing symptoms of illness (fever, cough or difficulty breathing), please call your clinic/provider before your arrival at Bee Well.

  • Patients who are experiencing symptoms of illness or who have traveled to areas as reported by the CDC or WHO, we ask that you call once you arrive in the parking lot.  We ask that you wait in your car to reduce waiting room exposure. We will notify you by phone when your exam room is available.
