Biography

Dr. Morgan earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University, and her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She completed her residency in general pediatrics at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, where she also completed a year as chief resident.

Dr. Morgan is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, Texas Pediatric Society, and the Institute of Functional medicine. She is actively pursuing certification in Functional Medicine with the IFM. Dr. Morgan has had post graduate training in nutrition and is also a certified nutrition coach.

Dr. Morgan says…

“I love teaching and sharing my passion for pediatrics, and have served as an Assistant Professor at UTSW Austin Pediatric residency program, University of Texas Medical Branch, and am currently an associate professor of Pediatrics at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center. Patients can expect to interact with residents and students during some of their visits. Professionally, I have interests in preventative care, nutrition, and sports medicine.”
